MTPE: 150 Apurimac residents will strengthen their capacities to start their own business

We seek to train more than 12 thousand people at the end of 2016. :: Published 05/07/2016

(Lima, June 24th, 2016).- Through “Impulsa Perú” Program, 150 citizens living in poverty conditions in Apurimac region will strengthen their capacities for entrepreneurship, Vice Minister of Employment Promotion and Training Labor, Nicanor Boluarte reported.

The training will be in charge of Callao National University experts, for which S/. 340 thousand   has been invested

Boluarte pointed that “Impulsa Perú” Program aims to promote employment, to improve labor skills and to reduce unemployed levels. In the case of Apurimac, in addition to training and technical assistance, a Business Plan Contest will be held, by a total of S/. 75,000 that will benefit 30 citizens with immediate implementation of their business.

Our expectation is to train more than 12 thousand unemployed and sub employed citizens from Ancash, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Ica, Junin, Loreto, La Libertad, Lima, Lambayeque, Callao, Piura, Puno, San Martin and Tacna by the end of 2016.

Ponte en Carrera Observatory

The Vice Minister Boluarte Zegarra had the opportunity to meet the students of “Libertadores de América” School of Chalhuanca in Aymaraes province (Apurímac) to whom he reported the benefits of “Ponte en Carrera” Observatory.

“Nosotros apostamos por los beneficios que ofrece el portal. Los alumnos que están por egresar de secundaria, encontrarán información de las carreras profesionales más competitivas y de alta demanda en el mercado laboral en nuestro país”, explicó.

 “We bet for the benefits that this portal offers. The students that are about to  graduate from high school will find  information of the most competitive and demanded professions in our country labor market”, explained the Vice Minister.

Likewise, high school students (4th and 5th  grade) understood the importance of the Vocational Orientation Service and Occupational Information (Sovio) that aims to promote the best decision, among students, concerning their academic education.

Nowadays, the Vocational Orientation Service and Occupational Information has been implemented in 26 regions. As a result 235 thousand young people have been benefited since august 2011 to may 2016.
