MTPE implements telework in Lambayeque

In the context of the actions in the first hundred days of management, the minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Alfonso Grados Carraro opened the first decentralized module of telework in Lambayeque. It will report and orient to workers and entrepreneurs about the opportunities of this modality.

In this way, his sector begins the decentralization process of the service and he hope to implement soon other modules in the most important cities of the country, Grados said.

 “The objective is to benefit the employability of the most vulnerable population and to promote a balance in the personal, family, social and work areas of the workers or civil servants”, commented.

Also, he highlighted that the government considers telework as a national issue because it is a mechanism that promotes the human development and increase the productivity of the workers and the companies.

 “We want that Peru becomes in a country without poverty, a modern and successful country to the 2021”, said.

As part of the implementation of this module, the minister met with representatives of private companies. He motivated them to adopt and to bet on telework.

He added that this modality is an effective tool to face the matters of labor insertion, especially of the vulnerable populations as disabled people, expectant mothers, nursing mothers and older adults.

The descentralized module of telework is in the Employment Center of the Regional Management of Labor and Employment Promotion, Libertad Street N° 400, Santa Victoria, Chiclayo.

Telework is a particular form of provision of services characterized by the use of information and communications technologies and the subordinated performance without the physical presence of the teleworker in the work place.  

Trainings

During his visit to Lambayeque, the minister Alfonso Grados announced that MTPE, through “Jóvenes Productivos” Program will train, freely 25 disabled people between 18 and 29 years old in the course of box attention. Additionally, he announced 100 vacancies of training for the course of production operator of table grapes in favor of the young people.

Also, he gave certificates of “Impulsa Perú” Program to 75 disabled people of Lambayeque that finished a teleoperators course and others 75 beneficiaries that received training for self-employment.

Finally, he highlighted the certification of labor competences of 577 people with profiles of cleaning worker, cook and waiter.
