MTPE opens the Employment Center in Los Olivos to promote labor insertion

Employment Week will offer more than 5,700 formal job vacancies :: Published 21/07/2016

(Lima, July 20th, 2016).-  The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion opened a decentralized office of Employment Center in Los Olivos district in order to promote labor insertion for vulnerable population and low-income people.

This decentralized office will offer 12 free services provided by Employment Center such as labour exchange with more 500 partner companies, counseling for job search, job search consulting, single labour certificate and vocational orientation for young people.

Also, it will offer labor training through Jóvenes Productivos Program, temporary employment through Trabaja Perú, and labor competences certification by Impulsa Perú Program.

This initiative is the second decentralized office of Employment Center opened by MTPE, the first is in San Juan de Lurigancho district.

The Employment Center in Los Olivos is located at 2202 Universitaria Avenue.

More than 5 thousand employments

The minister Daniel Maurate opened Employment Week in Los Olivos which offers more than 5 thousand job positions until July 21st.

He specifies that 1,073 vacancies are available for disabled people and 262 for professional and pre-professional internship.

Also, he said that 56 companies based in Lima offer job positions on telecommunications, textile, sales, massive consumption, and financial sectors among others.

 “The Employment Week seeks to benefit vulnerable population and low-income people through linking directly companies that require staff with potential employees without intermediaries”, he said.

The minister Maurate mentioned that entrance to Labor Fair and MTPE services are free, and interested people must carry an updated resume and National Identity Document (DNI).
