MTPE and CONACO join forces to strengthen labor formalization

“Formalízate Ahora” Fair attended more than 23 thousand interested entrepreneurs in formalization. :: Published 23/06/2016

(Lima, June 15th, 2016).- The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion and the National Confederation of Trades (CONACO, in Spanish) , subscribed an alliance to join efforts to combat the labor informality in our country, in the context of the Sectorial Strategy for the Labor Formalization 2014 – 2016.

The minister said that this strategy is complemented by the Plan of Sectorial Action for labor formalization 2016 that considers “Formalizate Ahora” fair among other activities.

“ “This fair has attended and oriented to 23,967 thousand people in Lima, Trujillo, Piura, Tacna, La Merced, Cusco, Huánuco and Arequipa”, Minister said.

Also, 1, 505 thousand people have made procedures to legalize their companies. Even, they have trained to 3,187 thousand people in issues related to formalization process.

More than 195 institutions: regional governments, micro and small entrepreneurs have joined to the alliance for labor formalization.

CONACO, with this alliance, is part of the participating institutions of Formalízate Ahora, and it will be present at the fairs to be held in Tarapoto (June, 16th and 17th) and Iquitos (June, 27th and 28th).

 “CONACO represents to peruvian entrepreneurs in all country, defending their rights according to State Constitution, and it will help us to promote the formalization in all sectors”, he said.

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion signs the Alliance for labor formalization “Formaliza Perú” with several institutions in order to cooperate with the objectives of the Sectorial Strategy to the Labor Formalisation 2014 – 2016.
