MTPE trains 80 disabled people in Trujillo

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, through “Impulsa Perú” program trained, freely, 80 disabled people in Trujillo, promoting the actions to improve the employability of the vulnerable population.

Beneficiaries received training in courses of cash manager and customer service, for which “Impulsa Peru” invested more than 180 thousand soles.

The entity responsible for training people with disabilities was the National University of Callao, where they learned strategies of quality service and significant improvements in personal training to increase professional and economic performance related to customer service.

They also developed the knowledge and tools necessary to enable it to develop an effective cash management.

On the other hand, MTPE gave certificates of labor competences as sales representatives to 40 people of La Libertad.

“Impulsa Perú” Program accredited to the workers that domain this trade, promoting the decent employment, greater self-esteem and better productivity.

Evaluations were conducted by the Certus certifier, for which 60,000 soles were invested in the project of FONDOEMPLEO.

“Impulsa Perú” program promotes the employment and improvement of labor competences for people between 30 to 59 years old that are unemployed and underemployed.

During the period August 2011 – August 2016 has benefited in La Libertad to 4, 766 people, through three lines of action (training for employment, labor skills certification and training for self-employment), with a financial execution of more than 4 million soles.
