In order to understand and identify areas for exchange of experience on the public employment service, a delegation of experts from the Ministry of Employment and Labor of South Korea is in our country  to provide technical cooperation and strengthen the services offered by the Peruvian Employment Center.

In this context, the minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Alfonso Grados explained that this visit will help to develop the implementation of a program of policy advice, which consists in planning the organization and sustained growth of public employment service, to make methodologies for the design, production and process development and strategies of labor intermediation.

Likewise, the articulation among the public and private sector for the provision of employment services is sought, and to apply strategies with entrepreneurial sector for the youth labor insertion, among others.

 “These actions that we are doing with support of South Korea are part of the objectives that we have set for this management in MTPE, to boost and to give more emphasis to the labor insertion of  the young people in our country”, remarked Grados.

The minister reported that the program of policy council is performed through meetings, study visits and workshops.

This visit takes place within the framework of implementation of “Improvement and expansion of Employment Center Services for the formal labor insertion of youth people in Arequipa, Ica, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Piura, San Martín regions; and in Lima Metropolitana” with support of Inter-American Development Bank (BID in Spanish).

Also, an equipment of Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS) developed during May of this year, a technical assistance for the development of the IT platform of the Employment Center.
