Lima, April 27 th, 2016.- The minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Daniel Maurate, showed the free services of the Employment Center to the new president of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, Mario Mongilardi.
Maurate Romero, during the tour, highlighted the importance of this space where the sector promotes the employ, employability and the entrepreneurship.
On his side, the president of Lima Chamber of Commerce highlighted the labor of the Employment Center as mechanism in favor of the population, especially of low-income people.
Also, Mongilardi mentioned that this initiative should be replicated in all country and to continue promoting the labor insertion in the population.
The Employment Center was implemented for Peruvians in order to have free services in one single place such as: employment opportunities, consultancy for job search, single labor certification, temporary employment, entrepreneurship training, labor training, certification of labor competences, entrepreneurship orientation, entrepreneurial approach, vocational orientation and occupational information, orientation to migrant and information of the labor market.
The Employment Center also provides labor training and temporal employments through the national programs of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion: Impulsa Perú, Jóvenes Productivos and Trabaja Perú.
34 Employment Centers have been implemented between August 2011 and January 2016 to national level, and 145 thousands placements in formal jobs have been achieved.
