(Lima, May 17th, 2016).- Around 400 disabled people will receive labor training courses of “Jóvenes Productivos” and “Impulsa Perú” programs of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, announced Minister Daniel Maurate Romero.
Minister Maurate reported that young people will be trained as production cashiers and commercial services; telephone operator of information centers, textile clothing operators. Also, the Employment Week at Parque de la Exposición will be until May 19th, he said.
“The disabled people are loyal to their workplaces and are highly productive because they develop others capabilities with skill and concentration”, he mentioned.
Also, he reminded that in the Employment Week more than 40 companies offer 1,700 vacancies to disabled people.
On the other hand, the minister Maurate gave certifications to 100 disabled people that finished the training course of production cashiers and commercial services, telephone operator of information centers through “Impulsa Peru” Program.
Awards
The minister recognized to five organizations dedicated to the welfare of disabled people and companies which are committed with labor insertion.
The awarded organizations were the Association of Parents and Friends of People with Autism, the Specials Parents Association, the Special Center Cerrito Azul, Inclusion Partnership Project Peru Aynimundo. These organizations subscribed cooperation agreements with the MTPE to help disabled people for being inserted in labor market according to “Employment with support” methodology.
Finally, the companies Puerto Madero SAC and XENIX were recognized by the labor insertion of disabled people through the services Employment Center offers, and Renzo Costa SAC for having a policy of insertion of this vulnerable group.
