(Lima, May 18th, 2016).- The minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Daniel Maurate delivered the Award “Labor Order 2016” which recognizes those persons who contributed to welfare of workers, harmony and improvement of labor legislation and social security.  

“It is essential to revalue the importance of human capital to grow as a country. We distinguish them with the “Labor Order” medals for their contribution to improve the labor community. I am sure that their dedication contributes to the quality of thousands of Peruvian families”, he said.

In this regard the “Labor Order” medal on a Commander degree has been delivered to the cusquean entrepreneur Adriana Valcárcel Manga for her dedicated research, production, development and commercialization of products based on biodiversity. Also, to the lawyer and university teacher, Victor Ferro Delgado has an outstanding professional experience in labor and pension law, who has also contributed to the formulation of labor standards.

It has been recognized with the Official degree the dean of the San Martin University Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Human Resources , Daniel Valera Loza. He promoted the Peru’s Professional Association of Industrialists Relationers, and he has contributed to the professional competences and labor insertion of this Association.  

On the other hand, Victoria Ampuero Alata de Fuertes received a special recognition as an outstanding lawyer and university teacher with more than thirty years in the judicial career. Mary Luz Valencia Vásquez was recognized for her important initiative in the entrepreneurships development in La Libertad and her effort to conciliate the unpaid domestic work and community work.

Also, Edgard Cotera Ordóñez has been recognized for his outstanding work and disinterested support in the Chosica Central Road emergency, in March 2015, that allowed the utility of the road. Cesar Luis Torres Bardales was recognized too by his commitment and selfless support in the emergency in the Huarochiri’s central road in March that allowed the cleaning of the damage caused by intense rains and landslides.

The Minister mentioned that the Award is given only previous proposal and it can be given posthumously. In this opportunity, the received proposals had supporting documents which were remitted to the Secretary of Labor Order Council for review and election to the winners.

The Labor Order is the highest recognition that the Nation gives to public or private workers, employers or other national or foreign person in merit to distinguished actions, qualified merits and services in favor of labor relation and social security.
