(Lima, July 1st, 2016).- Ponte en Carrera Web overcame 300 thousand users in almost one year of its official launch, it has reliable and free information about the best paid careers in labor market and training offer.
From July 21st, 2015 to June 24th, “Ponte en Carrera” has registered 303,969 users, and it represents an important achievement for the government because it contributes to take the right decision about professional future of young people”, the minister Daniel Maurate said.
The minister said that the number of users of www.ponteencarrera.pe has been increasing. “In December 2015 reached 147, 226 users, when the goal was 100 thousand, an in last May reached 245 thousand users”.
Maurate Romero is satisfied with the results that it has been reached because it shows an interest of high school students and young people to obtain useful information about studies and careers.
“Ponte en Carrera” has 2.0 version that contains a higher education update (more than 5,500 training opportunities) and average income of young professionals, including information about public sector (1.0 version only includes private sector).
Likewise, it has been implemented interactive tests to help users to recognize their potentialities and personal characteristics, including professional interests test. Even, it has information of more than 90% universities and almost 70% of institutes, among others.
The mobile APP “Ponte en Carrera” can be downloaded for free on Android system and, shortly, it will be operative on iOS system.
According to www.ponteencarrera.pe, the actual demand of workers with spreadsheet indicates the most required careers in formal market such as Business Administration (S/ 2,853), Accounting and Finance (S/ 2,591), and Law (S/ 2,805); however, they do not represent those of higher income.
