Within the framework of a policy of dialogue with the labor force and business organizations, the minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Alfonso Grados had a meeting with the president of the National Society of Industries (SNI in spanish) Andreas von Wedemeyer, to introduce the guidelines and plans that his sector will prioritize in the current government.
Grados highlighted that his management will prioritize the employment creation for young people, labor formalization, elimination of child labor, forced labor and the equity at work for women.
He pointed that his management will search for a growing formalization of workforce, because the 70% of this population at Perú is in the informality, without social security and labor benefits.
In this regard, the employability for young people will be promoted, through MTPE’s program for the training of young people in the dependent and independent work.
“The entrepreneurship is one of the great reasons of national economic growth that emerged in the last years”, pointed Grados.
Also, he highlighted that Government of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski wants to make a social revolution, that involve infrastructure and great works for the poorest sectors and a stronger social inclusion and formalization.
Minister Grados Carraro will be meeting, in the next days, with the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (CONFIEP in spanish) and Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL in spanish) as well as civil society organizations.
