Century Mining Peru S.A.C and its labor union signed a collective agreement that resolves definitely their demands 2016-2017, through mediation of the Department of Prevention and Conflict Resolution of Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion.

According to the agreement, the workers union suspended their general strike and pledged to return to their jobs as soon as possible.

The minister Alfonso Grados Minister welcomes the agreement and noted that the sector always facilitates dialogue processes between companies and workers.

 “The Ministry seeks to promote points of understanding and social dialogue that allow offer better labor conditions to all workers nationwide”, he said.
