The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, through its program Impulsa Peru will test labor skills of 390 low-income workers from Ica during this year.
Beneficiaries will be tested about theoretical and practical assessment of their skills in the trades of cleaning operator and phytosanitary evaluator.
The evaluation process will be managed by Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion recognized certification authorities as the Center of Tourism Formation (CENFOTUR) and the Technological and Higher Education Institute CEFOP La Libertad.
The certification of labor skills recognizes and certifies to workers that domain a trade, promoting the decent employment, self-confidence and better productivity.
During 2016, the program Impulsa Peru is scheduled to strengthen the capacities of 12 thousands persons in 17 regions through training for labor insertion, certification of labor competences and training for self-employment with 15 millons of soles as investment.
Also, this program gave 13 thousands certificates of labor skills to empirical worker nationwide as builders, bartenders, embroiderers, industrial carpenters, asparagus packer, cooker, etc.
Impulsa Peru is a program of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion that develops actions to promote employment and improve the labor competences through training of unemployed or underemployed of the economically active population.
