Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion will recognize workers performance that help labor welfare.

With the objetive of recognize the performance of workers, employeers and institutions of the public and private sector that have contributed to labor welfare, improvement of the labor legislation and the social security, the minister of labor and employment promotion, Daniel Maurate Romero announced the “Job Order” Award.

This recognition of Peruvian State has four degrees: Grand Cross (presidents of public power, minister and congresists) Grand Office, Comendador and Official. Also it can be given posthumously.

The Minister Maurate invoked to the trade unions and business associations, publics and private entities related to the Employment settings and citizen to submit their candidates. 

“We are going to recognize the acts that in service or in favour of the labor relations, social dialogue and labor agreement made for whatever natural or juridical person showing selflessness, austerity and abnegation in favor of others”, said.

The nominations will receive until the Sunday April 24 th, these must be coupled of documents that explain the specific reasons for obtain the recognition as professional background and sworn statement.

These documents must be submitted at Ministery of Labor’s Reception Desk (Salaverry Avenue 665, Jesús María) or to the email consejo@trabajo.gob.pe

The order council evaluate the proposals and decides who must receive the distinction with the corresponding degree.

The Job Order Award was created on november 4th, 1964 and is delivered in the Day of Labor.

This recognition were given to several persons as the past president of the Congress, Henry Pease García, ex minister Mario Pasco Cosmópolis (both posthumously), the labor lawyer, Jorge Toyama Miyagusuku, etc.
