The methodology of employment with support that implemented the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion to insert people with intellectual and mental  disability was pre-selected as one of the 20 best innovators policies by Project International, a project assigned to Austrian foundation Essl, that work in favor of rights of this vulnerable population.

Through employment with support, MTPE’s specialists analyses the jobs offered by employers, to train to disabled people within the same labor environment and sensitize it, in order that the employment is sustainable for the worker and productive for the company.

Since implementation in 2013 up to now, this methodology has inserted in a formal work to 228 disabled people from Lima Metropolitana and Callao.

This initiative is expected to expand in the regions of Peru and that companies assess and incorporate it in the human resources management.

The MTPE participates in the Zero Project International contest thanks to nomination of Centro Cerrito Azul del Perú Association. There were 260 nominations from 77 countries.

The innovators policies will be choose by mid-October and will be outstanding in the annual report of Zero Project International 2017. Also, they will be invited to present in the conference, in February of next year at Viena (Austria).
