MTPE offers over 400 formal employments in Moquegua Region

Viceminister Nicanor Boluarte closed Fair with job offers of more than 30 private companies :: Published 19/05/2016

The viceminister of Employment Promotion and Labour Training, Nicanor Boluarte closed the Decentralized Employment Week in Moquegua Region, with the objective to promote the labor insertion and improve employability of the most vulnerable population.

During the two-day job fair, more than 30 companies offered 300 formal employment vacancies.

Boluarte Zegarra said that main demanded positions for the companies are: credit analyst, safety officers, mechanicals, box, masonry, kitchen assistant, weld, drivers, and attendants, among others.

Also, he said that Employment Week in Moquegua offered services of labour exchange, single labour certificate, job search consulting, market labour information and labor training to promote competences, knowledges and labor skills that help to improve the job performance.

The entrepreneurs and independent workers received information about vocational orientation and training for entrepreneurship, technical assistant on business plan developing and creating conditions for its implementation.

 

Ponte en Carrera goes to Ilo

On the other hand, the viceminister Boluarte Zegarra visited students of 5th of “Almirante Miguel Grau Seminario” High School, and reported about the benefits of “Ponte en Carrera” (www.ponteencarrera.pe) and the Service of Vocational Orientation and Occupational Information (Sovio).

He explained during his meeting with the students, the importance an adequate and profitable career election to obtain the best job opportunities in our country.

“It’s important that the parents can guide to young student in the use of tools of reliable and free information; we want to explain the benefits of “Ponte en Carrera” and the services that MTPE offers for High School graduates who are the country´s future” said Boluarte Zegarra.
