Lima, April 25th, 2016.- The minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Daniel Maurate Romero participated in the sending of an itinerant hospital of EsSalud, Peru Hospital, to Manabí, province in Ecuador, one of the most affected by the earthquake occurred in this country.
During the departure of BAP Tacna in the Base Naval del Callao, where President Ollanta Humala was; the Minister reported that 32 specialists of EsSalud will stay 15 days in Ecuador to attend affected people.
“We know that EsSalud is financed with the contributions of workers and employers, then they should be proud to help to Ecuadorians brothers in this time of misfortune”, expressed.
Hospital Peru will arrive to Ecuador with 10 tents and more than 20 hospital beds, where surgeries of median and low complexity can be realized.
The specialists are medical surgeon, anaesthesiologists, traumatologists, sonographers, radiology technicians, nursers, auxiliary nurses, pharmacists and field technicians.
The minister Maurate said that is the opportunity for our country cooperates with the people that suffered the tragedy.
“We are sure that our doctors, technicians and nursers of the itinerant hospital will lift the name of Peru high and the ecuadorians will have a great memory of this show of solidarity”, highlighted.
The BAP Tacna left this morning carrying 318 tons of humanitarian aid to Ecuador.
